MARIA SHAHAN'S INTERNATIONAL

PERSPECTIVE ON WRITING:

Maria O. Shahan has benefited by her international experience and passion for film. She is a member of the American Screenwriters Association and has attended screenwriting courses at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she currently resides and is native of Monterrey, Mexico. Her unique international experience has enabled her to attend screenwriting courses in Mexico under prominent Mexican directors and screenwriters such as Arturo Ripstein.

She is also an avid reader and currently a professor of foreign language at UNLV.

It is Maria’s objective to bring her writing to either television or the screen and maintains involvement in a variety of film related projects. She has several scripts in development including, Under the sunset, The Club & Lockdown in Ward12 that she is working on independently and in collaboration with Kerry M. Shahan.

We work towards crafting the writing that is represented on this site for motion picture production and/or television use. The majority of our work is created with providing commercial interest as well as invoking interesting, entertaining and unique film concepts.
