Hollywood Goes Nude!

An A-list (and sometimes B-list) celebrity used to scoff at the idea of doing a nude scene in a film. Their moviestar status was often at stake, and so any nude scenes were either done by a body double, or not done at all. Nowadays celebrities are accepting more risque roles that require them to show a little more skin than usual. Sometimes these roles are early in their career (before they moved up on the Hollywood food chain), and sometimes a celeb will accept a role with a nude scene in an attempt to help resuscitate their ailing career. Sometimes an actor even does a nude scene to up their "street cred". Either way we (the audience) wins!

Hottest#1. One of the first nude scenes performed by an A-list actor was Marilyn Monroe's skinny-dipping scene in her film "Somethings Got to Give". Unfortunately, this film remains un-finished. Shortly after filming began, Marilyn died at the age of 36. However, most of the film footage from her skinny-dipping scene remains preserved in the documentary Marilyn Monroe - The Final Days
